Her advice runs from the practical to the philosophical: skip the budget-grade fixtures at the shower and vanity, since those are the highest-touch points in the room, and rethink standard above-the-mirror vanity lighting in favor of sconces or LED mirrors for even, flattering light. Above all, she says, choose what you will still love once the trend has passed.
