While Design Director at DWP Dubai, I led the interior design of Crowne Plaza Dubai, reimagining the guest experience through a rich narrative: The Nomad’s Tale. Inspired by a traveler navigating by moonlight and stars, the design journey unfolds from lobby to guest room with poetic intent. Upon arrival, guests step into a world shaped by navigation—architectural forms echoing sails, celestial maps, and a mezzanine that recalls the hull of a boat. The path then leads to an unexpected interlude: a tropical bar oasis that feels like a paradisiacal detour. The journey culminates in the guest rooms—restful, grounded, and reflective—symbolizing the nomad’s final destination. Each touchpoint of the property was carefully curated to immerse guests in a story of movement, wonder, and arrival.
