As Head of Interiors at EDGE Architects, I led the design of Hilton Bahir Dar, a 200-key flagship hotel overlooking Lake Tana and the Blue Nile. Rooted in the region’s natural beauty and cultural heritage, the interiors feature organic textures, handcrafted details, and custom furniture inspired by Ethiopian artistry.
From the fluid, multi-functional lobby to the serene guest rooms and villas, every space was designed to feel both contemporary and deeply contextual. Signature areas include a layered Executive Lounge, locally inspired F&B outlets, and a spa, all framed by expansive lake views. The result is a refined hospitality experience that seamlessly blends luxury with local identity.
