AMMROC

While an Interior Designer at AKD, I saw the successful submission of interior architecture and design concept & schematic phases for this 40,000m2 A-Class government headquarters building in the UAE. I worked directly with the Head of Interiors to design and detail key spaces including the coffee shop, staff restaurant, 20,000m2 of office spaces, kindergarten, conference rooms, lift lobbies, typical bathrooms and prayer rooms. I also provided design support on the quadruple height atriums, auditorium, majlis rooms and CEO Offices. I co-led the team to document all schedules and drawing packages. Building a strong design DNA for this project included starting with proper space planning and hand sketches first before rendering and always keeping in mind the original brief to ensure a cohesive, balanced proposal.
